The Wildcats offer their sincerest thanks to United States Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Platoon Commander Tim Smith and offer our best wishes to the Smith Family on their upcoming deployment.   Tim will be stationed at Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Mobile Unit 5 at the Naval Base in Guam, responsible for supporting the Navy’s Counter-WMD response and contingency operations in Asia.

Jacob Smith has been a Wildcat the past two seasons, and supported by his parents Tim and Jamie, and sister Annabelle.   Hockey Director Ben Weston noted “I have had the privilege to get to know the Smith family during my time at the Wildcats Program and am lucky enough to call them my friends. Being able to work with Jacob every week of the season and coach him both on and off the ice was incredibly fun. Jacob and the Smith family demonstrate everything that it means to be a Wildcat hockey player and family -  Tim's support of the coaching staff, Jamie's positive cheering and Annabelle being there every weekend to support her brother and team, including on our trip to Lake Placid . We will miss them dearly and wish them safe travels and the best of luck. We'll be patiently waiting for their return. Good luck! “
