Congratulations to our Bantam B Black team on taking home the NJYHL Championship. After posting a 27-1 record, the club took on the Skylands Kings in the opening round of the NJYHL playoffs. After an 8-1 victory the Wildcats were set to face the Hollydell Hurricanes in the Championship game, a rematch against the only loss the Wildcats suffered in the Hershey Thanksgiving tournament.
After a tight game the first two periods, the Wildcats prevailed and broke open the game with a resounding 7-4 win for the Gold.
Joining them on the ice in the Championship photo is #55, 5 year old Harry Smith. These kids have not only excelled on the ice this season but also helped bring attention to Harry's fight against muscular dystrophy through their support of the Muscle Movement Foundation.
Well done on and off the ice!
Best of luck representing the NJYHL in the district tournament!
